Beyoncé and Jay Z’s ‘On The Run’ Tour Reportedly Going ‘Down Under’

Beyoncé and Jay-Z may have been entrenched with divorce rumors from just about every angle recently. All this coming while they’ve had a great time together, at least on stage, during their joint On the Run tour, which finishes in Paris in two weeks.

The latest rumors to hit the world’s most talked about couple don’t surround their personal lives in as far as their marriage goes. Rather the rumors are focused on the possibility that Bey and Jay will extend their On the Run tour to a trip down under.

The Sydney Morning Herald reported today – if the two Australian sources are to be believed – Beyoncé and Jay-Z are indeed planning to tour Australia. Although they haven’t confirmed it themselves, there’s usually no smoke without fire, so “watch this space” for more info.

Just two days after Queen B’s performance at the MTV VMA‘s, Leni Andronicos from MTV, wrote that Ticketek was “accidentally posting the show’s waiting list on their website.”

She continued: “Stop everything… It’s (almost) official: Beyoncé and Jay-Z are bringing their ‘On The Run‘ tour to Australia.”

To back up that claim, Carmalena Murdaca, a Nine MSN blogger, posted on the musicfix page: “a well-placed industry source has also confirmed that the couple will be heading to Oz.”

Social media picked up the Beyoncé and Jay-Z tour rumors quickly enough, with claims arising that Blue Ivy, the couple’s daughter, would also be coming to Australia.

When Sony and Live Nation, which promote the tour back in the United States, were asked about the rumors, they came back with a straight, “no comment.”

The current duo-tour played 19 shows in North America and featured tracks from both of the singers. They performed in-front of packed crowds totaling 850,000 people and grossed an estimated $100 million between them.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s current On the Run tour comes to an end September 13 in Paris, France. It remains to be seen if the rumors are true regarding an imminent On the Run tour, Australia Style.
