PlayStation Plus Vs Games With Gold For September 2014

Sony and Microsoft have dropped their lists, and we can now compare Playstation Plus Vs Games With Gold for September 2014. We take a look at what the two console makers are offering gamers for the month as part of their premium subscriptions.

Microsoft starts off the Games With Gold list with only three new games this month, continuing with Crimson Dragon into the month of September for Xbox One Gold subscribers. As our own Scott Grill reported earlier, Xbox One members who already downloaded Crimson Dragon will be given Super Time Force as the second offering for the Games With Gold September offerings. Xbox 360 owners with Gold subscriptions will be treated to Halo: Reach, the last entry into the Halo franchise from developer Bungie, who will be releasing Destiny next month. Indie hit Monaco will be the second offering to Xbox 360 owners for the month, and will be available for the first half of the September.

PlayStation Plus subscribers will be continuing their six game offerings, with several offering cross buy functionality. PlayStation 4 owners with PS Plus will find themselves with free copies of Velocity 2X as well as the PS Vita.

Sportsfriends is a compendium of local multiplayer games and is compatible with the Playstation Move Motion Controller. Fighting game fans will be given PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale which features iconic characters from both first- and third-party games featured on the Playstation, including Ratchet & Clank, Kratos and the Big Daddy. Rounding up the offerings for the PlayStationPlus include Hoard for the PlayStation 3, Joe Danger for the PS Vita, and TxK for the PS Vita, which is in the same vein as Rez and Child of Eden.
