Kevin Love is welcome in Cleveland, and there’s a billboard to prove it. Love, who was recently traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers from the Minnesota Timberwolves for the Cavs young draft pick Andrew Wiggins, has excited the city yet again.

Kevin Love’s welcome billboard is just one way Cleveland fans are showing their “love” for Kevin. Cleveland is on fire with sports excitement this year as the Browns drafted quarterback Johnny Manziel, and the big news of LeBron James returning to his hometown team, and city set the city alive with sports excitement yet again.

LeBron James’ return was the key to landing Kevin Love in Cleveland, and the city wants to welcome Love with a huge billboard and obvious fan support.

According to MSN, the acquisition of Kevin Love brings the Cleveland Cavaliers one step closer to the coveted NBA Championship, something the franchise has never won, but greatly desires.

Kevin Love’s welcome billboard is just the first step to that championship dream. The Cavs roster now includes LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Anderson Varejao, Dion Waiters, Tristan Thompson, and new addition Mike Miller. The Cavs are sure to be the team to beat in the Eastern Conference of the NBA this year, CBS Sports reports.

The Kevin Love welcome billboard is located in downtown Cleveland, where fans are sure to see it. In the photo on the billboard, Kevin is wearing the throwback Cavs logo and also advertises the Starter brand.

LeBron James used to have a huge billboard in Cleveland as well, and after 2010’s “Decision,” where LeBron decided to leave his home state and join Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami to play for the Heat, where he later won two championships.

However, as previously reported by The Inquisitr, not everyone is happy about Kevin Love being dealt to Cleveland. Some could argue that acquiring Love could put the Cavs at a disadvantage, if not only for the reason because Andrew Wiggins was traded away.

While there are some cynics about the Cleveland Cavaliers, everyone is Cleveland is pumped for the new 2014-2015 season, and a new energy can be felt in Ohio. The Kevin Love welcome billboard only reminds fans of the possibility that a big, and great, change is coming for the “cursed” sports fans of Cleveland, and they’re eager to have it happen.
