Eminem Releasing Album On Black Friday? Here’s What You Do Not Know About ‘SHADY XV’!

Eminem will release his eighth studio album, SHADY XV, on Black Friday — November 28.

SHADY XV is the follow-up to the highly successful 2013 album The Marshall Mathers LP 2. The Roman numeral 15 is a creative addition to the title since this album will mark 15 years since Eminem released his major label debut, The Slim Shady LP, back in 1999.

Instead of directly confirming the upcoming release of SHADY XV, Eminem decided to throw out subtle clues here and there to get his fans and critics excited.

For instance, during the last stop of his Monster tour with Rihanna in Detroit’s Comerica Park on Saturday night, Eminem wore a shirt with the album title prominently featured on it. Eminem even posted a close-up image of himself on stage wearing the shirt recently on his Twitter account:

Another subtle clue was this teaser image for the album, which was featured on his official website until it was later taken down:

Shady XV. Black Friday. Enough said.

If you have seen the most recent trailer for the Antonie Fuqua-directed movie, The Equalizer starring Denzel Washington, then you should have already seen another subtle clue Eminem has left for us since the lead single from his album is playing in the background. If you wait until the very end of the trailer, then you will see this credit scene flash before the commercial ends:

Do you see the creative plug for the album?

You probably missed this clue all together when Eminem posted this trailer on his Twitter account back on August 15.

The song, “Guts Over Fear,” featuring Sia will officially be released on iTunes on August 25. If you think this is all that Eminem has planned when it comes to leaking hints and clues about SHADY XV, you might be dead wrong. On Sunday afternoon, Eminem tweeted this cryptic message about the MTV VMAs:

What exactly will happen? One report claims that this clue is just for The Equalizer trailer, which will be airing at some point during the MTV Video Music Awards. However, that could just be the tip of the iceberg. We will all just have to wait and see.

In the meantime, are you excited about Eminem releasing a brand new album? Do you think it will be better or worse than The Marshall Mathers LP 2?
