Miranda Lambert Hairdo: Country Star Goes Shorter, Lighter For New Hairdo
Miranda Lambert has a new hairdo! The country star cut her hair shorter — just above her shoulders — and dyed it even lighter, giving her a fresh new look. According to Us Weekly, Lambert posted a photo of her hairdo on Instagram, and she seems to really like it. “Fresh cut! Fresh color! ‘Somethin’ bout PLATINUM! Thanks @amandacraig12! Love you,” Lambert wrote as a caption for the photo above. It’s always fun to change up your look, and Miranda seems to be playing with her hair a bit frequently nowadays.
“The new layered chin-length bob features long side-swept bangs. Lambert, who’s been rocking a honey shade of blonde lately, also lightened up her color to platinum.”
Miranda Lambert’s hairdo is definitely a change, and it’s really easy to manage. Of course, being a celebrity and all, it is not difficult for her to get her long hair back if she so chooses. A couple of hours with a hair stylist and Miranda can have her long hair back in no time flat, thanks to extensions. Apparently this is something else that she has experience with, because sometimes? She wants to have long hair!
Back in July, Lambert wanted longer hair for her CMT performance. Hair stylist Lee Wright said Miranda went with extensions for that occasion — and for the CMA festival.
“I cut her hair three weeks ago before the CMT Awards and CMA Fest [in early June.] She was ready for a change. But she wanted to wear extensions for her performance.”
Miranda Lambert got her new hairdo in the middle of her Platinum Tour, which means if you have tickets to see her live, she may be sporting the shorter look (assuming she doesn’t put in extensions before every show). According to The Boot, Lambert recently wrapped filming for her first movie— a comedy called Something in the Water.
In other Miranda Lambert news, the singer has been swept up in several divorce rumors. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, there have been rumors that Blake Shelton’s “drinking and cheating” was ruining the couple’s marriage. However, things seem to be going well for them, despite what you might read. Both Blake and Miranda have debunked divorce rumors in the past, but new gossip comes out every other week.
