‘Baby Got Class’: Family Behind Viral ‘Christmas Jammies’ Video Is Back, Back-To-School Parody [Video]

If this family looks familiar, you have probably seen their previous “viral” hit, “Christmas Jammies.” The family consists of Penn Holderness and Kim Dean Holderness who live in Raleigh, North Carolina and their two children, Lola and Penn Charles. Penn has worked as a TV host, reporter and news anchor, but the family’s website says he quit his job to run a production and marketing company with his wife. Kim is a former news reporter. So it is no wonder the two are so comfortable in front of the camera.

The Holderness family are at it again and this time it is all about big buses and they cannot lie. This back-to-school parody is sure to put a smile on your face as your kids head back-to-school.

The new viral video is a parody of Sir Mix-A-Lot’s hit “Baby Got Back.” Father Penn Holderness raps about how he “likes big busses and he can’t deny” along with “round and big” backpacks and how to “make that healthy lunch” cause “baby got class.” The video is full of an array of witty rewrites and cute songs. The kids partake, just as they did in Christmas Jammies, making it all the more adorable.

Honestly, I knew the video would be worth my time after watching the first 10 seconds featuring “Oh my God Becky, look at that bus!” The video has so many priceless lines, any back-to-school parent can relate.

The family dedicates the song to “the amazing teachers who take care of our kids all year long and don’t make enough money.”

What do you think of the Holderness family’s “Baby Got Class” remix? Can you relate?
