Kate Gosselin And Her Eight Kids Back On Television For December TLC Specials

Kate Gosselin and her brood will be back on television before you know it! The reality star and her eight children have been filming with TLC for a couple of Kate Plus 8 specials that will air in December. According to Radar Online, cameras have been following the famous family around this summer as they visit new places and see new things. Just over a week ago, some of the Gosselins headed to a One Direction concert, though it’s unknown if cameras followed them there. Days later, however, the group was in Massachusetts, checking out Plimoth Plantation — and there were television cameras with them along the way according to a witness.

“The film crew was shooting to the right of the photo, as Kate and the kids were heading in. Steve [Neild] kept standing in front of me and blocking my view.”

Kate Gosselin has also been seen with her bodyguard Steve Neild quite a bit this summer after there was a rumor that he left his job with the family to take on something else. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, dating rumors surrounding Kate and Steve fired up again last week after Steve’s wife was “no where in sight” while Steve was at work. Haters of Kate and fans of Kate have different opinions about what is really going on between Kate and Steve, but it does seem like their relationship is a working one only. Kate has said that she is great friends with Neild’s family, including his wife, Gina.

It’s unknown exactly how many episodes of Kate Plus 8 will air in December, but The Hollywood Reporter says that there will be “multiple.” The site reports that TLC made the decision to bring Kate and her kids back because their revival this summer saw great numbers. While no one expects Kate Plus 8 to have a full season of 10+ episodes, it seems like three or four will definitely air over the course of a few weeks just before Christmas.

The summer episodes that aired in June saw about 2.1 million when it premiered. That number is expected to be larger in December, so TLC is running with it. Will you be watching?
