‘The Fosters’ Spoilers: Episode 2×10 Brings Complications, When Does The Show Return?
The Fosters season 2 midseason finale airs Monday night on ABC Family, and fans are anxious to know what to expect. Many are sad to see that the break for this season has come so soon, and everybody wants to know when the show will return. There are some The Fosters spoilers available for Monday’s episode, and there are also some hints out there about when the show will be back with new episodes.
Episode 2×10 is titled “Someone’s Little Sister,” according to TV Guide. The Fosters spoilers indicate that Callie will turn to Robert when she needs help, while there is tension between Lou and Brandon. Connor is under pressure to pull away from his friendship with Jude, and there is a big challenge ahead for Rita. In addition, Jesus manages to get some new perspective when it comes to Hayley.
Sherri Saum, who plays Lena, teased some additional The Fosters spoilers via TVLine. Lena heads back to work, but there is some friction with the new principal. Saum teases that “something’s not quite kosher between them.” In addition, there’s the situation with Mariana and Jesus meeting Ana. Both Stef and Lena are struggling with this, but Lena says they’re trying to do the right thing when it comes to what the kids need.
The meeting between Lena and Connor’s dad is teased to be “a very prickly” encounter, as she thinks he is both abusive and prejudiced toward Connor. However, she knows that she needs to be professional and find a way to deal with him. As for Callie turning to Robert, Saum says that Lena and Stef are trying to respect Callie’s relationship and let her make her own decisions. Saum adds that they feel secure that Callie is a part of their family, and they want her “to have access to all areas of her life.”
At the end of Monday’s season 2 midseason finale, viewers will see that there’s a new wrench in the works regarding Callie’s adoption. It sounds like viewers may be left hanging, and that’s not going to go over well. Just how long will everybody have to wait for new episodes to return to ABC Family? This is not the end of season 2, luckily. However, it doesn’t seem that the network has specified a premiere date for episode 2×11 quite yet. If the network follows the schedule it did with season 1, it looks like The Fosters will return in January with the second half of season 2.
