Ian Somerhalder, Nikki Reed ‘Smitten’ With Each Other: No Hope For Nina Dobrev Reunion?

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are dating and sources say that the two are smitten with one another. According to E! News, Ian attended the 2014 Creative Arts Emmys and talked about how happy he is. Perhaps not completely referring to his relationship with the Twilight actress, Ian has a lot going for him right now. He seems like he is in a really good place both professionally and personally, and his fans could not be happier for him.

“Life is good. There’s a lot of support and love from a lot of people. I couldn’t be happier if I tried.”

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed have been dating for a couple of months now. While the two haven’t actually admitted that they are an item, some of their dates have been caught by the paparazzi, and it is beyond obvious that they are an item. Sources say that the two simply love spending time together, and it appears as though things are going really well.

Now, for fans of Nian (Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder), this isn’t exactly good news. Many were hoping that The Vampire Diary actors would reconnect and give their relationship another go, but now that Ian has moved on, that seems less likely. It probably doesn’t help that Nina is (or was?) friends with Nikki. That makes for a somewhat awkward situation for all three of them.

According to TMZ, Ian and Nikki were at a Farmer’s Market in Los Angeles Sunday, the day after they attended the Creative Arts Emmys together. This was really their first time making an official public appearance together. Oh, and don’t forget that the pair already adopted a pet together… and not something traditional like a cat or dog either. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Ian and Nikki adopted a horse.

Ian posted the photo below, and referred to the horse as “our baby,” tagging Nikki on Instagram.

“Proud new dad… What amazing creatures they are. Wow. His name is Eagle. Thank you @iamnikkireed for snapping this special moment, with our big baby boy.”

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed definitely have something special and it is great to see them bonding over things that they both love (like animals). Do you think that their relationship will last? Do you think there is any hope for Ian and Nina to get back together?
