Burger King Stabbing: Man Stabbed At Burger King In Washington


A stabbing at Burger King over the weekend has police scrambling to identify the victim. The suspect stabbed the victim with a knife multiple times, fatally wounding him inside the Burger King at NE 24th Street Bellevue, Washington.

The victim stumbled outside the Burger King location. He died from his injuries in the parking lot.

Following the stabbing, the alleged attacker left the fast food restaurant and went to a nearby Safeway grocery store. The incident was reported at 3:17 p.m. on Sunday. Bellevue police officers responded to the scene.

Police apprehended the suspect in the grocery store parking lot, which was adjacent to the Burger King lot, just minutes after the fatal stabbing. The suspect was arrested without incident and taken into police custody, reported Q13 FOX News.

Officials have not revealed the identity of the 38-year-old man who allegedly stabbed and killed the victim at Burger King. They believe the man acted alone. The identity of the victim remains unknown.

The victim was a white male between the ages of 35-40. He was not carrying any identification on him at the time of the fatal Burger King stabbing.

The restaurant was closed while police conducted an investigation. Authorities spoke with potential witnesses who were inside the Bellevue Burger King at the time of the stabbing.

KIRO 7 reported that at least one witness who saw the fatal stabbing at Burger King has come forward to the media. Sokun Hem said he saw the victim lying on his stomach. “He was puking out blood,” Hem said.

Police don’t know the motive for the fatal stabbing. They are trying to determine whether the suspect and the victim knew each other, or if they were strangers who became embroiled in a fight inside the fast food franchise.

Bellevue Police Ofc. Seth Tyler released a statement about the mystery of the motive for the stabbing at Burger King and the identity of the victim.

“Our detectives are currently investigating the details surrounding this case, including what led up to this incident and the relationship between the suspect and the victim, if any….

Not only is it unusual inside the restaurant, but in Bellevue we only have one to a few at most homicides per year so this is very unusual”

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Burger King recently brought back a cult favorite. BK chicken fries made their triumphant return to the fast food chain earlier this month.
