Lauren Conrad Plays The Bridesmaid At Friend’s Wedding
Lauren Conrad spent some time with old friends this weekend as she played the role of bridesmaid for longtime friend Maura McCanus’s wedding.
According to US Weekly, Conrad attended Maura McCanus’s wedding on Saturday, August 16 in Ojai, California. Conrad wasn’t the only bridesmaid for McCanus. She was reportedly joined by childhood friend Jilly Hendrix, and Laguna Beach and Hills costar Lo Bosworth.
E! News stated that McCanus opted for a mix-and-match of gowns for her bridesmaids, as long as they were all the same cream color. Lauren Conrad and friends posted photos of the big day to their Instagram accounts, and everyone looked fabulous:

Lauren Conrad recently made headlines after giving her 18-year-old self some advice while reflecting on her time on Laguna Beach. According to US Weekly, it was 10 years ago that the 18-year-old Lauren first auditioned for the MTV reality series Laguna Beach. The reality star turned fashion designer took to her blog to write a note for her 18-year-old self and this was the advice she had:
“When I was 18, I was in a hurry to grow up. Instead, I wish I would have taken a beat to just enjoy being young. So many things are new when you’re that age and the level of responsibility is still low.”
According to US Weekly, Conrad ended her letter to herself by encouraging herself to be an individual in a world full of questions and decisions:
“For the first time you get to go off on your own and make real, conscious decisions about where you want life to take you,” she wrote. “You get to choose your school, your major, and what kind of person you’ll become. So when you’re making these decisions, be an individual. It’s the best way to discover who you really are.”
