English Scientests Claim Atmospheric Carbon Dioxide Will Cause New Ice Age

Researchers in England have found that 630 million years ago the earth has an atmosphere full of carbon dioxide but was completely covered with ice. The study looked at limestone rocks and found evidence that large amounts of greenhouse gas coincided with a prolonged period of freezing temperatures.
The research suggests that contrary to current global warming orthodoxy, additional CO2 in the atmosphere could reflect rays into space, as opposed to capturing heat within the atmosphere, causing the earth to cool, and enter a new ice age.
Dr Ian Fairchild, lead investigator, told The Telegraph: “We came up with an independent test of a theory that the earth, like a baked Alaska pudding, was once hot on the outside, surrounding a cold, icy surface.
“It happened naturally in the past, but the wrong use of technology could make it happen again.”

Which is why climate change is a far more appropriate term for any human engineered change in weather patterns than global warming. We can only hypothesize as to what might happen in the future because of excessive amounts of unnatural (i.e. caused by human action rather than a natural cycle in the earths ecosystem) CO2 in the atmosphere. It might warm, it might cool or it might stay the same. Either way, the risk is concerning.

There's nothing more exciting than to hear about things that research SUGGESTS something.
The global warming playbook is built upon suggestions, ifs, mights and maybes (to name a few). How esle can gloom and doom be phrased, when the source of these pronouncments lies within the virtual science of global cilmate models. Virtual science is NOT real science, folks. Depending on the programmer's instructions, and depending on the adequacy of the data provided to the computer model's instructions to be manipulated, the climate model can say that CO2 MAY, MIGHT, COULD, PERHAPS, or SUGGEST that either the planet is gonna burn up or turn into a block of ice. Take your pick. Then choose which side…which science… which virtual reality…you want to support
It's as easy as that..

Come on people… let's fact check a little. The scientists made no such claim of causality:
