CM Punk And AJ Lee Enjoying Honeymoon, Have Ice Bucket Dumped On Phil’s Heads [Video]

CM Punk and AJ Lee are enjoying their honeymoon together after Phil Brooks married his WWE sweet heart. But the couple took the time to respond to social media request that they participate in the ice bucket challenge.

In a related report by The Inquisitr, CM Punk’s WWE return may be desired by fans, but so far this grand re-entrance will be limited to the WWE 2K15 video game. It’s believed the former WWE superstar may ink a deal with New Japan Pro Wrestling, which is interesting considering that AJ Lee was almost fired from the WWE back in 2013.

Lately, AJ Lee and CM Punk have been spotted in Hawaii while on their extended honeymoon, and Phil had his wedding ring proudly displayed. Despite not being in the ring, the two try to keep in shape since the Punk sightings were limited to them jogging around the islands. There was even a brief rumor that had AJ Lee pregnant already, but recent photos show her looking tone and fit with no belly bump in sight.

Lately, there has been a new YouTube Challenge trend called the ice bucket challenge which is attempting to gain attention for ALS research. ALS are the initials for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a neurological disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement. ALS is more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, named after the famed baseball player who contracted the disease at the height of his career. The way the challenge works is that people on social media will challenge you. If you don’t respond, you’re supposed to donate money.

Even though CM Punk and AJ Lee were busy honeymooning, Phil decided he would join in on the idea:

“I accept the ALS ice bucket challenge from no twitter Matt Cooke of the @mnwild and the no good @BaileyLAKings. On my way to get a bucket…”

Unfortunately, CM Punk received criticism on Twitter and YouTube for making the video for some odd reason. For example, one comment wrote that Phil “abandoned” the WWE universe. Punk had one response to that idea:

“Blocking people who feel the need to s–t on raising ALS awareness. What is wrong with you? Ice bucket on the way. Who should I challenge?”
