Michael Strahan And Ex Nicole Murphy Spotted Together After He Was Dumped For Cheating

Michael Strahan was dumped by fiance Nicole Murphy after the NFL great was caught cheating, but it seems there is a chance of a reunion for the couple.

Strahan and Murphy were spotted together grabbing lunch at the South Beverly Grill in Beverly Hills, sparking speculation that they may have worked through their relationship problems.

But an insider close to the couple threw cold water on the idea of a permanent reconciliation.

“They had lunch. They are on friendly terms. No big deal,” a source tells E! News of their meeting today, and adds that the pair are not reconciling.

The source added that Michael Strahan and Nicole Murphy just weren’t able to work out their differences.

“They love each other very much but with the distance and work schedule it has been hard to maintain the relationship,” the source said.

Reports indicate that the relationship problems run much deeper. Reports from TMZ indicated that Nicole had caught Michael Strahan cheating, but waited until she had proof until she called it quits.

Many questioned the odd timing of Murphy’s announcement, which came just before Michael was set to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

A source told E! News that Michael and Nicole have had a complicated relationship for quite some time.

“They have been on and off for two years. There have been a lot of ups and downs and back and forth. Sometimes they were together, sometimes they were not,” the source said. “They were both aware all along of their relationship status. No one did anything wrong. They were both aware of their situation and it was a complicated relationship. There are no big surprises between them.”

There could still be a chance of reconciliation, however. Neither Michael Strahan nor Nicole Murphy have spoken about their lunch date or commented on their relationship status.
