WWE News: Huge Update On Kurt Angle To WWE, Is Triple H To Blame For Halting Return?

A few days ago, Aric Mitchell of The Inquisitranalyzed the news that broke talking about TNA superstar Kurt Angle pitching a return to WWE. Mitchell went on about Vince McMahon’s disinterest in Angle and how his past with alcohol and substance abuse is the reason for their ignorance towards having the former-WWE champion back in the company.

New information has risen from the talks Angle and the WWE have had over the past months. Angle appeared on Mark Madden’s radio show on 105.9 the X, and spoke about his supposed excitement to return to the company that made him famous in the professional wrestling industry.

“I think [the door] is always open. I’m really not allowed to talk to anybody, due to my contract, but it’s always an open door. It’s about what you can give, what they want from you, and what you want from them. At the end of the day, it really comes down to how much they want to use me, and how much I want to be used.”

With all the negativity towards an Angle return, he still believes the door remains open for him to come back for another run. He realized that he could not work a full-time schedule anymore, due to his health and age. At least he can admit to that, but Angle doesn’t need the money and won’t ask for the cash the Rock did. That’s a guarantee.

Along with his quote on Madden’s show, Madden talked to his sources that Triple H spoke with Kurt Angle as well about a WWE return. The result stayed the same; they aren’t interested in Angle at this time. However, that isn’t the bad news.

After his chat with Triple H, Angle contacted McMahon to talk about a return. Clearly, Angle isn’t privy to the new laws of the land in WWE. HHH is making most, if not all, of the decisions now, and that isn’t good for the TNA official. According to a source from E-Wrestling News, Triple was not happy when Angle tried to go over his head and talk to McMahon.

If this were 2009, none of it would’ve mattered. However, since there is a new boss in charge, it won’t be as easy to convince them that a Kurt Angle return is best for business.

What do you say? Angle is very popular in TNA and would skyrocket back to the mainstream if he returned home to WWE. He has vowed to stay clean, and if they can make an exception for Jeff Hardy and his old demons, they can do the same for Angle.
