American Idol Death Note: Josh Gracin Was Faking, Found In Good Health

American Idol alum Josh Gracin caused quite a stir in the last few days, after posting a worrying Facebook comment which appeared to be a suicide note.

Once you’ve read the curious Facebook message you’ll see why its contents worried people so much:

“Please remember me as someone who gave his all in his music… Pray for my family as they carry on in this world without me. Goodbye.”

Now if that doesn’t sound like a suicide note nothing does. The message, which was posted by Gracin around 5 p.m., was also curious as the beginning part of it made reference to Gracin’s wife:

“I’ve loved her for 17 years… I made mistakes… I admitted them, told her the truth and she turned her back on me when I needed her help the most.”

The post, which is still up on Gracin’s Facebook page, started getting comments from concerned fans almost immediately after it was posted. Fans also took to Twitter to inquire as to the country singer’s health and well-being.

TMZ reported yesterday that police officers rushed to the singer’s home after news of his apparent death went viral. They found his wife, Ann Marie, and then called Gracin; thankfully, his wife persuaded him to come home.

The police found Gracin on his way home at 5:33 p.m. and confirmed that he was safe. He took himself to hospital, escorted by police, where he was assessed by medical professionals.

Soon after the message was posted Gracin’s manager explained that his client was still alive and well and thanked fans for their concerns.

Josh Gracin was a former United States Marine Corps member who secured fourth place competing on Fox’s American Idol. He has released three studio albums since his time on American Idol and has enjoyed some considerable success.
