Kate Middleton Buys Prince George Bargain Basement Clothes At Outlet Mall

Kate Middleton may be feuding with the Queen at the moment, according to the rumors circulating in the media regarding her imminent exodus from Kensington Palace to Anmer Hall in the countryside.

Despite those alleged ongoing arguments or perhaps as a result of them, the Duchess took herself shopping over the weekend on her ‘Jack Jones’ (British slang for ‘on her own’) at a bargain basement retail outlet mall a few miles from London.

Vanity Fair reported that on Sunday, Kate Middleton was seen at the Bicester Village mall in Oxfordshire, and it wasn’t the first time she had visited there. The mall’s spokesperson confirmed to reporters that she visits there quite often and can be found rummaging through the cut-price designer garments they sell there.

Apparently, Kate has style and class as she was seen during her shopping spree searching for clothes for George, at Reiss, Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Bonpoint, and Lacoste. According to the Daily Mail in Britain, the Duchess allegedly found some cute pajamas at Lacoste that were a perfect fit for the future King of England.

Kate Middleton is known for being chatty and friendly, and even though she may not come from royal blood — a fact the Queen reportedly doesn’t love — she is a great Duchess and a wonderful ambassador for Great Britain. While at Bicester, she chatted freely with other shoppers who recognized her.

Hollywood Life reported that one such shopper, who remained nameless when she spoke to reporters, said she was: “Chuffed to bits. I met Kate Middleton today, had a little chat and she was lovely!” How very British.

It can’t be easy being in the public eye all the time, especially with the constant glare of the media on you 24/7, so it’s understandable that Kate Middleton sometimes just needs some downtime to go out in public and feel normal.

The fact that the Duchess purchases bargain basement clothes for Prince George is another story the Queen may not be so pleased about. For all families, getting along is a challenge — and the royals are no exception.

But regardless of what really goes on behind closed doors at the royal palace, the media, especially the tabloid press, seems to always be there with a story, alleging one kind of feud or another. Best advice is to take most of the stuff you read with a pinch of salt and leave the Royal Family to their lives.
