Lively’s Litter Of Kids: How Soon Will Blake And Ryan Reynolds Start Having Babies?
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have been married for nearly two years already, and it seems they may be looking toward starting a family together. In fact, Lively’s litter of kids comment in her new interview with Marie Claire definitely has people buzzing, and it does sound as if Blake has babies on the brain. What did the Gossip Girl actres have to say about life these days?
Lively’s litter of kids comment came when she was asked about the fact she has previously said she wanted 30 kids of her own. Blake shares, “I gotta get started. If I could spit out a litter of kids, I would.” The actress says that she has never gone a week without seeing her husband, and she doesn’t make any major decisions without him. Lively adds, “He’s my best, best friend.”
These days, Gossip Girl is behind her, and she recently started a website called Preserve. Touted as a lifestyle e-commerce website, it has garnered some criticism from people much like Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP site has. Granted the new site isn’t all that she is tackling these days as she also has The Age of Adaline coming out in 2015, and she is the face of Gucci’s Première fragrance.
Ryan Reynolds, 37, and Blake Lively, 26, tend to be an extremely private couple. Their wedding was not one showcased with an exotic locale, record-setting Instagram photo or tabloid coverage a la Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s recent nuptials.
Given their cravings for a quieter life, it’s a bit unusual for the actress to open up like she just did, though they have both talked about wanting kids. Blake didn’t get detailed beyond that litter of kids joke, though, in terms of sharing just how anxious the couple may be in terms of making that a reality.
The actress says that she went straight from high school to starring on Gossip Girl, and once she was done with the show, she craved the “freedom to explore and carve my own path.” She’s been anxious to try other things, and it sounds as if becoming a mom may well be at the top of the list.
How does her hubby feel about having kids? Reynolds previously told E! Online that the couple would “love to have a big family” as they both come from big families themselves. He says he knows people say it’s crazy, but “We’ll walk through that fire pretty happily, I think.”
