‘The Bachelor’ 2015: Chris Soules Is Still Top Pick According To Reality Steve

The Bachelor 2015 has still not been confirmed by ABC, but according to Reality Steve, Chris Soules is the guy that is going to get the gig. Despite some back and forth chatter about some other guys “in the running,” it seems fairly obvious that Soules (who was the third “runner up” on Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette) is going to be “the one.” For starters, he was a fan favorite last season. Secondly, there have been quite a few hints (some by Chris himself) that prove that he has or is close to inking a deal.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, there have been plenty of unofficial confirmations. Aside from some pretty telling tweets, other Bachelor/ette related people have spilled the beans. For instance, Cody Sattler (Andi Dorfman’s season and Bachelor in Paradise) recently said that he was excited that Soules was the next Bachelor.

The Bachelor 2015 has seen plenty of names tossed around in conjunction. Apparently Arie Luyendyk Jr. from Emily Maynard’s season of The Bachelorette was in talks with producers, as was (or is) Marquel Martin from Dorfman’s season and Bachelor in Paradise. According to WetPaint, Dorfman’s “runner-up,” Nick Viall has been mentioned recently in association with the show, and is being “strongly considered.” Despite however many names that the media wants to throw out there, it seems clear that Soules is going to take the helm.

Reality Steve doesn’t disagree, and he says that the news will be leaked (officially) “fairly soon.” When asked if he thought Arie’s name was just mentioned for suspense, Steve said “it’s possible.”

“I don’t really think… it’s going to be him. From the day I posted the spoilers on May 13, I said this is Chris’ gig to lose. And obviously he would want to do it. And obviously Chris does want to do it. And I think they threw Arie’s name out there just probably to throw people off the beaten path. I honestly don’t think he’s going to get it. I think they are going to go with Chris.”

The Bachelor 2015 is slated to begin filming in September, and the new season of the show will air in the new year. Of course this means that a Bachelor has to be chosen soon. If Chris Soules does get the gig, chances are the ratings for the season will be through the roof. People just really love that man!
