Vin Diesel in Secret Marvel Movie?! Here’s What He Leaked about His ‘Inhumans’ Role
Vin Diesel might have leaked two very big announcements about an upcoming Marvel project through his Facebook page on Saturday – (1) There will be an ‘Inhumans’ movie released at some point in the near future and (2) Marvel has chosen him to join that ensemble cast too.
Vin Diesel leaked this possible hint through a Facebook post as a caption to a picture of Groot, the Marvel movie character that he provides the voice for in the blockbuster hit movie, Guardians of the Galaxy:
“Vin and Marvel… you all made it happen! I get the strange feeling that Marvel thinks I’m Inhuman… Haha.”
About a year ago, Vin Diesel posted this picture of him standing in front of an Avengers comic book illustration and used the caption to let his followers know about a major Marvel meeting focused on him and an upcoming secret project:
“Marvel meeting today… Only the people in the room can tell you what was discussed…P.s. Thanks to Our page, for pushing to make it happen… you know I get tunnel vision with my work… and after that meeting today… wow!”
Many people thought that the details of this secret Marvel project were finally confirmed when his role as Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy was officially confirmed. However, if you paid close attention to what he said in an interview with Perez Hilton, you would see things a little differently:
“When I met with Marvel it wasn’t for anything immediate. It was to talk about a film that would be introduced in the Phase 3 part of Marvel, not for a few years…I get the call, I go down to Marvel. A great meeting…talking about something so big I can’t even talk about because it’s like the merging of brands in a way, which I won’t get into. That was something way, way, way, way, way down the road.”
Chances are that “way, way, way, way, way down the road” is a lot longer than the August 2014 release of Guardians of the Galaxy – which was only about one year after the Perez Hilton interview.
Based on his decision to work the word “inhuman” into his recent Facebook post, this adds even more fuel to the rumor fires stating that he will star as Black Bolt in the 2017 release of Inhumans. Shortly after the message was first posted, Twitter became filled with tweets of reactions and comments:

Is there any truth to this? Will Vin Diesel play Black Bolt in an upcoming Inhuman movie or is he just pulling the legs and raising false expectations of millions of people around the world?
When it comes to movie secrets and leaks, Vin Diesel has proven that he cannot keep a secret for very long – especially if it has anything to do with him. Through his Facebook page, he has leaked all sorts of announcements to his 82 million Facebook fans – including another XXX movie, a follow-up sequel to The Chronicles of Riddick and plenty of set photos from the highly-anticipated Fast and Furious 7 movie production.
Will we be able to add this announcement to the growing list of confirmed leaks and revealed secrets from Vin Diesel? Only time will tell.
