Matt Damon Says Liberace Biopic Will Be “Great”


During his appearance at the premiere of his newest movie Contagion actor Matt Damon revealed that he’s already looking ahead to his next project Liberace in which he co-stars next to actor Michael Douglas.

Damon plays Scott Thorson, partner to Liberace and according to reports Douglas and Damon will be locking lips at some point in the movie.

Speaking about the biopic Matt Damon revealed:

“[It’s] gonna be great.”

While he went on to reveal to Yahoo News that he hasn’t rehearsed the movies more intimate scenes with Douglas:

“We just get together on weekends and make out? No,” while adding, “We were talking about getting together and reading some of the scenes, the parts are fantastic… It’s really, really wonderful and we want to get it right.”

Fans of the famous singer/pianist will have to wait until 2013 for the movie to debut.

In the meantime Contagion opens this Friday at theaters around the country.
