Why Chrissy Teigen Is A ‘Woman We Love’

Chrissy Teigen throws perfect opening pitches while drunk, tweets hysterical comments without a filter, and the camera simply loves her. For all these reasons and more, Esquire has named her a “Woman We Love” for the month of September.

Teigen helped spread the good news via her Instagram account, where she teased her followers with a racy preview in advance of the Esquire shoot. The 28 year-old model is literally busting out of her shirt in the photo while the caption reads: “My new @esquiremag feature is out with Chris Pratt on the cover!”

Despite being beloved by Esquire and her almost 500,000 followers, Chrissy is not without her own insecurities. She reveals as much throughout the interview:

“I didn’t know butts were a thing until I was twenty-three. Then came Jennifer Lopez and people were like, ‘That butt is great.’ Now you have to have a butt. It sucks for me. I have a little half-Asian butt, and the more I work out, the more I try to get it bigger, it’s just going to get flatter and harder.”

It’s candid remarks like these that makes Teigen so endearing to the masses. Recently, she took criticism on Twitter for posting that she was drunk before throwing out the opening pitch at a Dodgers game. Chrissy dealt with it in her usual hilarious fashion:

In fact, most people seemed to approve of the comical moment. As reported by The Inquisitr, Teigen released a barrage of alcohol-fueled tweets leading up to her first pitch at Dodgers Stadium:

She then showed off some practice pitches in hopes that she wouldn’t embarrass herself the way 50 Cent did when he threw out a first pitch earlier in the year.

And while she could have been lambasted for her honesty, the majority of news outlets gave her props for doing so well under the influence. People for example, labeled Chrissy Teigen “the best model to ever throw out a first pitch.”
