Bruno Mars To Play Festival Presidente In Dominican Republic This Fall

Bruno Mars’ star is most certainly on the rise. He certainly seems to have found the magic stuff to create a gold mine for himself and chart-topping hit not only for himself, but also for an impressive list of artists who have come before him. Bruno Mars is responsible for selling over 100 million records and to date has racked up an impressive amount of entertainment industry awards to date, with no plans of slowing down anytime soon. True, his list of accolades is rather impressive considering the man himself has only released two studios albums of his own, with the last one being released in 2012.

The “Treasure” singer has been really busy over the last year with touring and promoting his most recent album, Unorthodox Jukebox. He’s has hosted and been musical guest on Saturday Night Live twice and has even kept it real with family, helping his sisters’ group, the Lylas, produce an album.

Now Bruno, 28, seems ready to take on new challenges this fall when he joins Calle 13, Wisin & Yandel, Mana, Prince Royce, and DJ Tiesto to perform at the Festival Presidente in the Dominican Republic, one of the biggest music festivals in the country. Fox News reports that the festival is sponsored by the Cerveceria Nacional Dominicana and is scheduled for October 3-5 this year. A source for the sponsor released the following statement discussing why they’ve chosen to bring Bruno Mars and other big name acts to DR:

“The celebration of these three spectacular nights is eloquent testimony to Cerveceria Nacional Dominicana’s commitment to the Dominican people, a people who appreciate and live the magic of music.”

Meanwhile, Bruno Mars is still actively touring on his Moonshine Jungle tour with upcoming dates along the west coast of the United States. For dates and availability of tickets in your area, check out the official Bruno Mars website.
