‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ To Have ‘Anti-Superman’ Theme

Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice will possess “a very anti-Superman theme” according to various new reports regarding the hugely anticipated blockbuster.

Batman On Film have reported that the people of Metropolis and Gotham aren’t very happy with Krypton’s most famous son after his antics in Man Of Steel. This will lead to various scenes in the film that include marches and protests against Superman because of all the destruction that he caused battling General Zod.

Numerous other rumors regarding the upcoming sequel to the 2013 blockbuster, which is once again being directed by Zack Snyder, have been released over the last few days.

The same report from Batman On Film also confirmed that Aquaman will indeed feature. However it will only be in an extremely small role, which will in turn help to set up the Justice League film that will be released in 2017.

Game Of Thrones star Jason Momoa is set to play the nautical superhero, and rumors continue to swirl that the character will debut on a watery set that has been specifically built for his character. It’s not known if Momoa will appear in costume though.

Meanwhile, as filming on Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice continues, the usual reports regarding car chases, action scenes and explosions have been made public. Over the next few days Detroit is set to be the home for a car chase, however it’s not likely to include the Batmobile, which still hasn’t made its debut during the shoot.

According to ComicBook, recent photos of Ben Affleck as a graying Bruce Wayne showed the ageing entrepreneur trying to save Wayne Enterprise employees from a destroyed building in Metropolis.

Meanwhile, it has also emerged that Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice has finally moved its release date so that it doesn’t go up against Marvel’s Captain America 3. This move was always anticipated as both Marvel and Warner Bros were aware that if both films were released on the same day then their box office would be severely impacted.

Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice will now be released on March 25, 2016, which means that it has been moved forward by just over a month. Captain America 3 is still set to keep its release date of May 6, 2016 – a day that Marvel have used extensively for its films over recent years.
