WWE News: New WWE Logo Revealed On WWE World Heavyweight Title

While the WWE is gearing up for the “Biggest Party of the Summer,” many new things are going to be put in place. For example, Friday Night Smackdown is being moved to Thursday nights, according to this new photo from Wrestlezone.com. Not only that, Sting is rumored to be in town and could end up signing a new contract that would allow him to wrestle.

Now comes the exciting news, as somebody took a sly photo of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon with a new version of the WWE World Heavyweight championship belt during a photo shoot.

That’s the newest piece of evidence that proves the fresh WWE logo is coming in full-force. For new WWE DVD’s, the logo is being used in the bottom left corner of their products.

A few months ago on the Inquisitr, we talked about the new logo being implemented into everyday activities after SummerSlam. With the pay-per-view occurring in less than two weeks, the WWE Universe will begin to see the logo used as their primary image for the foreseeable future.

The new logo is a sign that Triple H is unofficially taking over the company and that it is his world now. Yes, he has been slowly learning about the business for the past four years, but with the implementation of NXT, the Performance Center, the new logo and Indy wrestlers being signed, this is a full 180-degree turn than what Vince McMahon put into place.

There was a clear distinction in era and personnel when Vince led the company into stardom during the 1990’s and 2000′. He was able to promote the business with big, muscular men and leave out the smaller guys, except for a few exceptions. During his reign, the “muscle-lover” moniker came to be after having a supposed “fetish” for big men.

Give Vince credit though, he held the company through dark times and pursued heights that weren’t imaginable before he set out to do so. Now, the WWE is the biggest pro wrestling promotion in the world and nobody is close to the level they are at. WCW had a chance to dethrone the king, but due to unfortunate circumstances and Vince Russo, McMahon’s camp became victorious and never looked back.

The logo debuting will be the dawn of a new era in WWE. It is now Triple H’s show and that logo will be a daily reminder of the uncharted waters the WWE Universe is about to set foot in.
