Indian Teenager Raped

Indian Teenager Defends Herself Against Rapist By Cutting Off His Penis

An Indian teenager in the Madhepura district of Bihar defended herself against her rapist uncle Mahendra Mehta by cutting off his penis with a knife. She claims that he had raped her before, and this incident would have been the second time.

The Indian teenager is believed to be 17 or 18, living in the north Indian state of Bihar. According to The Times of India, the Indian teenager’s parents were worried about her health, so they brought her to Mehta for a “cure.” Her 35-year-old uncle practiced ancient rituals and meditation and believed that the Indian teenager had been possessed by a supernatural entity. Then, he proceeded to gag and rape her.

The second time, the Indian teenager armed herself with a knife. She recorded her conversation with her uncle and cut off his penis when he tried to rape her. She first contacted her village council, but they failed to remediate the problem. The Independent reports that the Indian teenager then filed a sexual harassment report to police on July 30th, and officials are still investigating and pursuing the suspect.

“The incident happened 20 days ago. Initially the girl went to the [village council] but when that was unable to resolve the matter the case was brought to me,” said Senior Officer AK Singh of the Alam Nagar Police. “We then filed a case at the women’s police station.”

The Indian teenager’s family did not suspect Mehta’s actions, and told The Independent that he had abused his power as a member of the family. They are hoping that Mehta is caught and punished for his wrongdoing.

As for the Indian teenager, no charges are being filed against her. In fact, the police are praising her for her courageous actions. “Why should we file a case against her? We should applaud her bravery and courage,” said Officer Singh when asked about charges.

Rape in Bihar is shockingly common. The Bihar Police reported that 478 rapes cases occurred in the first five months of the year, with 130 rapes in just May. As a result, the government has implemented harsher punishments for those convicted of rape. Also, cell phones are in the process of being banned in school, which were used to watch “blue films and obscene songs.” Hopefully, these new reforms will make Bihar a safer place for women.
