If you’re lucky enough to have Jeff Goldblum as a guest at your wedding, take advantage of the opportunity by asking him to pose for a Jurassic Park-inspired wedding photo op! That is exactly what Pamela and Jesse Sargent did this past weekend after their wedding ceremony.
Goldblum’s fiancé, Emilie Livingston is a friend of the bride, so the couple attended the Toronto wedding. The groom had an ingenious idea and asked Jeff Goldblum if he would be willing to take part in the “wedding party runs away from a photoshopped dinosaur” photo,” — pure Jurassic Park style per Uproxx.
Adam Biesenthal, the photographer, tells Buzzfeed, once he set up the shot, “we actually got this final image during the first take!”
This is a very clever shot, however, if you look closely at everyone’s expressions, it does not seem that they are running for their lives from a T-Rex on their heels. It seems like they are jovial and excited to be running beside Jurassic Park star, Jeff Goldblum, who seems to be the only one in character form.
Take a look at this clip as to how fear really looks when Goldblum is being chased by a T-Rex.
Biesenthal tells Uproxx,, “Truth be told, he (Goldblum) was a very cool guy, who when the groom asked him to do this shot he enthusiastically agreed.”
Jeff Goldblum is one cool dude. Let’s take a look at some of Goldblum’s best moments.
It would really be cool if a string of celebrities would be willing to continue the trend. Bill Murray could propose a Ghost Busters photo op. Harrison Ford could arrange for an Indiana Jones theme, or maybe even Darth Vader could set the stage for the Death Star in a galaxy far far away. A new trend is certainly in order for wedding photos.
