Tara Reid Wants You To Smell Like A Shark

Tara Reid has been known to live life without regard for seriousness, as evident by her antics on her show on E!’s Taradise, which aired for ten episodes from August 2005 through 2006. However, since surfacing on the small screen in Sharknado, life has been looking up for Tara Reid. With the success of Sharknado 2: The Second One on her heels, it is only natural that Tara Reid branches out from acting and searches the seas for other endeavors. The result of her foray into other fields is the introduction of Shark by Tara, a new perfume.

According to Tara Reid‘s website, Shark can be described as:

“[L]ight and refreshing that is perfect for day-to-day wear. It also incorporates a plethora of “lavender” colored flowers, which is Tara’s favorite color, making them a true fit for Shark by Tara. Shark by Tara perfume is a complex scent with three different levels of nodes that embrace our fresh, light, and fun feel. Our top-level node is clad with iced mint, violet and lemon, while our middle node is complete with jasmine, tuberose and muguet. The last dry node is cool blue rose, amber and musk.”

A bottle of Shark by Tara will cost you $24.95 U.S. Dollars, and the size of the bottle has not been revealed as of yet.

The calming scent of lavender, iced mint, violet, and lemon seems a far cry from what you would expect from a fragrance that reminds the wearer of Sharknado, and the gruesome scenes within. When Fin is asked by the cab driver what the inside of a shark smells like, I would almost expect him to pull out a bottle of Shark by Tara and spray it in the air, if there is a third movie.

Tara Reid can now say that she has officially joined the ranks of perfume wielding stars, such as Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, and more. Shark by Tara Reid is one of the more unexpected scents, especially so soon after the release of Sharknado 2: The Second One, but its association with the movie franchise will most likely bring in a lot of buyers.

There is no word on whether any other fragrances will be inspired by the cast of Sharknado 2: The Second One, but I am sure we will see chainsaws and circular saw hands in stores this coming Halloween season.
