‘Happiest Man In The World’: Man Executes Inspiring Jig, Defines ‘Dance Like There’s Nobody Watching’

As recently mentioned in The Inquisitr, there’s an old saying, “If a YouTube video features dogs, women, or children, then it’s definitely worth watching.”

Well, “Happy dancing man” may now need to be included in this saying, along with the dogs, women, and children.

The new “Happiest Man in the World ” video is one of the latest clips of visual media to take hold of a growing online audience. The Happiest Man requires neither tap shoes nor a piece of cardboard — just a pair of shorts and some room to groove.

“Happiest Man in the World” is among the latest videos posted on YouTube and elsewhere with a man letting it all hang loose in a burst of inspiring dance seemingly driven by pure joy.

Happy Man dancing in afternoon delight.

On the one hand, the man is not an aspiring Fred Astaire, so at first look one might get the giggles or even laugh out loud. But beyond this is where the video clip earns its “Happiest Man in the World” title, the man’s dance moves apparently being spontaneous expressions of overflowing feeling, and to see the many transitions, such as from happy little jig to tip-toes, the man’s happy switch does not look like it will be turned off any time soon.

There are, of course, many amazing YouTube videos of men dancing that can be both humorous and inspirational, such as this inspiring older gentleman who chucks his crutches aside to cut the rug.

An older gentleman dances his heart out after throwing his crutches aside.

Similarly, the Happiest Man in the World brings a raw power and intangible glee to his barefooted, often double-time, ten-stepping. He kicks up some dust with a genuine and refreshing charm, even arousing some dance moves from others in his vicinity, such as the man in the blue shirt pictured. Look for him in the video below and watch him do his own little jig, complete with pumping elbows.

The ‘Happiest Man in the World’ inspires another to reflect his joy through dance.

The Happiest Man’s dance reportedly took place at the Northwest String Summit Festival in North Plains, Oregon, earlier this summer. The version of the clip linked below was first posted August 1 and continued to color the online world with joy throughout Monday.

With over 6,000 views and growing, there are so far 38 “Thumbs Up” votes with only two obviously joyless, grumpy poor players clicking the “Thumbs Down” button.

Well, of course, a video is worth a million words, so without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, here’s a happy man dancing, perhaps reminding us all that when joy strikes, you may as well embrace it:
