True Love Shines In Picture Of Bride Photobombing Her Groom Eleven Years Before Officially Meeting

For most people, the feeling of true love is simply poetic. Often the topic in many poems, novels, movies, and plays, it seems to be the one feeling of misery and ecstasy most people desire and fear at the same time. For a newlywed couple, true love might have matched them till death do them part, but it seems that true love’s fate is what brought them together 11 years earlier when they were kids… and they didn’t know each other.

According to an by Telegraph, Aimee Maiden, a 25-year-old teacher, and her husband, Nick Wheeler, a 26-year-old soldier, were admiring old family photos ahead of their wedding. It was one single picture from their past that shocked them. The photograph is shown below.

That’s right! The two actually actually crossed paths back in 1994 when both of them so happened to be playing at the same beach as children. Aimee grew up in the tiny seaside village of Mousehole, Cornwall, and was a regular visitor at the beach. However, Nick lived in Kent and was simply there on holiday. The two kids, Aimee aged 5 and Nick aged 6, spent the day building sand castles just a few yards apart but their families never communicated with each other. As a matter of fact, they were total strangers.

In another article by The Huffington Post, details of how the fated couple met were reported. Apparently, Aimee and Nick would “officially” meet in college. Their relationship grew until they both married last Saturday at the Gulval Church, just steps where the original photo was taken two decades before their wedding day.

Aimee Maiden also explains in detail about the photo taken that very fateful day, on the beach, eleven years ago:

“The photo was taken by Nick’s granddad. Nick is sitting front-right in the boat with his sister and two cousins and his family, his mum, uncle, and nan are to the right and behind them. To the left and behind his cousin, I’m in the blue swimsuit with my mum, dad, and sister.”

Aimee Maiden and Nick Wheeler pose for their wedding, but their first picture together was on the beach before they “officially” met each other, eleven years earlier.

Right now, the couple are enjoying their honeymoon in Florida. They did say they would frame the treasured picture once they get back but right now, they are enjoying quality time together, especially with the career choices they have. Aimee Maiden explained this by saying:

“Nick is often away for months at a time on tours of duty in places like Kenya and Jordan, and as soon as we get back from honeymoon he is off to Canada for two and a half months.”
