Jennifer Greene, Alleged Tortoise Torturer, Back In Court On New Charge — Care To Guess What?

Every generation likes to complain about the state of kids these days, and how rotten those teenagers are — but they never met Jennifer Greene. The Florida teen, if the charges against her are true, is making a strong bid to be considered the rottenest one of them all.

You may remember Greene from a story reported by The Inquisitr last week, in which Greene, 18, and her friend, 15-year-old Danielle Susan Ruger, tortured and killed a protected gopher tortoise. The two girls lit the helpless tortoise on fire, then threw the terrified animal around the room, all the time filming themselves for a video they later posted on Facebook.

When the desperate gopher tortoise, one of a species listed as “threatened,” still remained alive and frantically tried to run for its life, Greene and Ruger stomped it to death.

Greene is currently in jail awaiting a court date on animal cruelty charges that could land her five years behind bars. But she also was scheduled to appear in court this week on a new, entirely separate charge. Jennifer Greene is accused of performing sex acts on an underage teen boy.

The girl is facing charges of lewd and lascivious conduct. The incident is alleged to have taken place June 19, when Greene was still 17, just one week before her 18th birthday.

The boy in question is said to be 16, but his name has not been released because he is the victim of an alleged sexual assault.

The boy told police that the two teenagers were playing a game of hide and seek in Orange Park, Florida, when he started a sexual conversation with the older girl, asking her to show him her breasts — a request to which she readily complied, according to the police accounts.

But the underage encounter did not end there, according to the charges against Jennifer Greene. She then continued performing sex acts on the boy, engaging in a variety of such acts with him including oral sex.

A local TV station, Fox 30, spoke to some of Jennifer Greene’s neighbors who said they were aware of the incident that led to the charges against Greene, but they declined to comment, calling the whole affair a “sad situation.”

The parents of Jennifer Greene are also reportedly aware of the sexual incident, police said, but did not comment to the TV news reporters.
