Katy Perry Says Kim Kardashian Has Plastic Butt

Katy Perry recently had to defend herself against critics for using cultural themes that were deemed insensitive by critics.

Katy Perry, 29, was criticized by critics for using Egyptian culture as a big part of her Prismatic World Tour as well as a big focus on mummies. She said she drew her inspiration from Kim Kardashians famous butt. It almost sounds like her “inspiration” was more of a jab at Kim Kardashian.

In upcoming August issue of Rolling Stone, Katy Perry talks about the criticism and why she chose to go with this kind of theme:

As far as the mummy thing, I based it on plastic surgery. Look at someone like Kim Kardashian or Ice-T’s wife, Coco. Those girls aren’t African-American. But it’s actually a representation of our culture wanting to be plastic, and that’s why there’s bandages and it’s mummies. I thought that would really correlate well together… It came from an honest place. If there was any inkling of anything bad, then it wouldn’t be there, because I’m very sensitive to people. I guess I’ll just stick to baseball and hot dogs, and that’s it. I know that’s a quote that’s gonna come to f*ck me in the ass, but can’t you appreciate a culture? I guess, like, everybody has to stay in their lane? I don’t know.

It’s like Katy Perry is implying that Kim Kardashian‘s butt is plastic or fake. But Kim has vehemently denied that she got butt implants, even as going as far to tell people on twitter to “Get a life!”

Katy Perry shooting bullets at Kim Kardashian and Ice-T’s wife. Maybe she’s not doing it on purpose, but either way it seems kind of insensitive to call people plastic. Kim Kardashian and Coco aren’t the only people Katy Perry seemed to attack inadvertently. She seemed to call Lady Gaga thirsty for attention when she said, “I’m not, like, a crazy ‘I’m gonna die for my fans’ type. Some people are so dramatic about it, and you’re like, ‘Honestly, you’re not the Second Coming. You’re just an entertainer!’… I’m very grateful for fans’ support, but I’m not thirsty or desperate.”

But Katy Perry is adamant that she is not trying to insult or hurt anyone in her form of expression in her music. Hopefully, this doesn’t spark any major conflict between any of the celebrities.
