AOL has just unveiled plans to make its content mobile via a new partnership with WIN plc.

The deal will give AOL’s UK division a “fully managed mobile content store” that’ll offer entertainment along with news-type information and other paid content for AOL users. It will also provide a mobile version of AOL’s Instant Messenger as well as general content aggregating services.

WIN — short for Where Ideas Navigate — calls itself a “dynamic enabler of entertainment, information and interaction services in the ever-evolving mobile media environment” in Europe. It plans to provide its full suite of products — everything from content management to mobile payment — for AOL’s future use.
