Alicia Keys Announces Pregnancy With Adorable Instagram Photo
Alicia Keys is expecting her second child with producer and husband Swizz Beatz. Keys decided to take matters into her own hands and announce the exciting news on her Instagram.
Besides the news of her pregnancy being a very exciting moment, there’s a reason why Alicia Keys decided to announce the news on this particular day. July 31 marks the anniversary that she and Swizz Beatz got hitched. Alicia said “I Do” to her husband four years ago today, so the decision to highlight her second pregnancy on this day is surely a significant moment for the R&B singer.
Clearly more than a few months along, Keys posed all in white with her husband. The two clutched her growing “baby bump” looking blissful and very excited to welcome their second child into the world. The couple already has a son, Egypt, who turns four in October.
On her caption Keys expressed her excitement and happiness:
“Happy Anniversary to the love of my life @therealswizzz!! And to make it even sweeter we’ve been blessed with another angel on the way!! You make me happier than I have ever known! Here’s to many many more years of the best parts of life!”
Prior to her announcement that she was expecting with her husband, she shared a photo of her son Egypt and Swizz playing in the ocean, with the caption:
“Man This is freedom! His freedom is mine. #blessings #seetheworldthroughachildseyes.”

Swizz Beatz also posted a message while using a different picture from the same photo shoot. In his photo Swizz is seen kissing Key’s arm.
“Love is life & life is love and we’re so excited for another GIFT from up above Happy Anniversary my Goddess 4 years of greatness & cheers to 100 plus more inshallah.”
In August of 2013 Keys celebrated her third anniversary on Good Morning Americaduring their summer concert series. When asked if she felt like she was settling down into her marriage, Keys said that she isn’t and as far as their passionate marriage goes, “It’s hot. It’s fiery.” Hence the title of one of her songs “The Fire We Make.”
As of right now we don’t know when Alicia Keys is due with baby number 2 but considering how far along she looks we’re predicting that a fall baby is in her future.
