Cindy Crawford Steals Spotlight at 2011 Venice Film Festival
Supermodel Cindy Crawford turned heads this week, as she as she walked the red carpet at the opening ceremony for the 2011 Venice Film Festival.
The 45-year-old mother of two wowed the crowed in a stunning red full-length Roberto Cavalli gown, which she paired with matching open-toed stilettos, a ruby clutch, and silver Chopard jewels.
Cindy, along with her husband of thirteen years, Rande Gerber, attended the event in support of their friend George Clooney,whose political thriller The Ides Of March was premiering as part of the iconic Festival’s opening ceremonies.
The film, which features other big-name stars such as Philip Seymour Hoffman, Ryan Gosling, and Evan Rachel Wood, tells the story of an ambitious campaign press secretary (Gosling) who gets swept up in a political scandal in the last frantic days of a heavily contested primary race.
Vying for the coveted Gold Lion – the festival’s highest award for best film – The Ides of March, which comes to US theaters on October 7th, will be pitted against 22 other films being screened over the course of the prestigious 11-day event.
In the days leading up to the 68th Venice Film Festival, the Daily Mail reports that Crawford and her husband had been staying with Clooney at his villa in Lake Como.

so obvious Cindy's in love with George Clooney. She's virtually followed him -whom she has nothing in common with but looks–around for a while. That she would put her husband through this reinforces what people have said about her for years; she's self-serving and shallow.

k sorry to comment like ALL your statuses/stati…but there is a commercial here in austin for a line of furniture she did at this one store…and it's got a crappy cover of "suddenly i see" by KT Tunstall on it….as if the commercial is about how we should all want to be like HER rather than about the furniture…lame

When she was on the house of style on Mtv back in the 90s,she made a comment about her being on welfare growing up & she was embarrassed,cause her parents were divorced & her mom had to work 2 jobs & she said "we were on welfare for awhile and i was so embarrassed",shes lucky to get assistance in Illinois,she acted like her life was a just so bad cause her mom was getting extra help.Then a couple of years ago she made a comment about obese people,wearing bathing suits.She made a comment like "no one wants to see that & maybe the suit would look better on kate hudson."shes shit mole face bitch.
