Instablogs Launches Global Report Videocast

Cementing its foothold as a citizen journalism site, former blog network Instablogs is launching its daily video show called Global Report.

Global Report consists of news stories and opinions from all parts of the globe, reported everyday by citizen journalists in a video format. Here is a video of Global Report’s mission.

The new feature allows Instablogs viewers to catch up with video reports on globally unfolding news stories and events from a citizen journalist point of view. A firsthand ground news report and sometimes exclusive pictures, videos, phone ins, that are not available with other media outlets, be it online, television or other mainstream media sources, is provided by the citizen journalist.

The Instablogs network also has over 25,000 registered members and over 20 million readers every month.
