Beyoncé Divorce: Look Inside Her Swank (Possible) New ‘Single Ladies’ Pad, It’s Amazing [PHOTOS]

The Beyoncé divorce from Jay-Z appears to be a foregone conclusion, if reports appearing in the media — including on The Inquisitr — are accurate. But if they’re not, the fact that, as The Inquisitr reported earlier, the “Single Ladies” superstar was seen checking out a super-swanky, $21.5 million apartment in Manhattan has only fueled the speculation.

The apartment where Beyoncé was spotted home-shopping by herself, according to a report in The New York Daily News, is a penthouse located at 520 West 19th Street, in Manhattan’s upscale Chelsea neighborhood, between 10th and 11th Avenues, overlooking the Hudson River.

Now, when Beyoncé buys an “apartment,” the place is not going to be what most of us picture when we think of apartment life in the city. While the average American house was at an all-time high of 2,306 square feet in 2012, the “apartment” Beyoncé is reportedly considering measures nearly twice that size — 4,054 square feet.

That space includes five bedrooms and five bathrooms — quite a lot for a “single lady,” even a single mom with 2 1/2-year-old toddler, since even after their divorce, presumably Blue Ivy, the daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, will be spending at least half of her time with her mother.

Before showing you what the interior of the amazing apartment looks like — and with an advertised price tag of $21.5 million it better be amazing — this is what the building where Beyoncé may end up living looks like from the outside.

Nothing special, to be honest. But wait until you take the elevator up to the penthouse.

Here is what Beyoncé has to look forward to as she nurses the heartbreak from the prospective end to her six-year marriage to Jay-Z, aka Shawn Carter.

Plenty of closet space…

A panoramic view of the river — and New Jersey — from the breakfast nook.

Another amazing view, looking uptown with the Empire State Building in the distance.

Plenty of light!

Here’s where Beyoncé will take a shower. Either here or one of the other four bathrooms.

A spacious terrace with a stunning view of the Big Apple.

An elegant dining area.

Yes, the place is a duplex.

The terrace is bigger than many whole apartments in New York City.

Not bad. So don’t worry — divorce is a drag for anyone, but it looks like Beyoncé will have a soft landing, to say the least.

We should also note that despite the reports and rumors that Beyoncé and Jay-Z have already effectively called it quits and are simply waiting until the end of their current tour to announce their divorce — there is a very good chance that there will be no divorce at all.

First of all, whatever the difficulties in their relationship, both Beyoncé and Jay-Z are nothing if not shrewd businesspeople. They have a combined net worth estimated at about $900 million, but the cost of a divorce might be too much even for these two financial powerhouses. Family lawyer Goldie Schon said in a recent interview that the Beyoncé divorce from Jay-Z would be “the most expensive celebrity divorce in history,” with fees possibly topping $1 billion.

Given that a billion bucks is reportedly more than the two of them now have, put together, it may make sense for the Beyoncé and Jay-Z to simply stay married, even if Beyoncé moves out live like a single lady.
