Care Worker Castrated Four Patients For Not Sharing Meatball Stew With Him

In a bizarre case out of China, a care worker allegedly castrated four patients in his care after they refused to share their meatball stew with him.

The 46-year-old man, Wang Fan, who is described as being mentally disabled, was allowed to work at the hospital in the north-eastern province of Heilongjiang. He was tasked with assisting in cleaning and feeding the patients there.

Even though Fan was unpaid officially, he was given a place to sleep and allowed to eat any food left over from the patients at the facility.

But things took a turn for the worse when patients who Fan was treating refused to share their meatball stew with him, even though he was hungry. Angry at the way he was treated by the patients, Fan decided to exact revenge on the men.

According to police, at the end of last week, Fan tied his victims to their beds and then, using a sharp razor blade, severed their testicles. He was only stopped when other members of staff noticed what he was doing.

One of the victims of the shocking attack, Chi Liang, said to reporters, “I thought he was tying me down because of some medical procedure but then I realized actually something was wrong and I yelled and screamed, but nobody came.”

Liang, 62, and another patient lost both their testicles in the attack while two other men, aged 81 and 53, lost one.

Police confirmed that Fan had been drinking heavily before he carried out his attacks on the four patients and told the police he had planned to cook and eat the testicles he had taken. This is due to his belief also that eating human testicles has some kind of medical properties.

The care home where the incident took place houses around 165 people, all of whom are either poor locals or mentally handicapped.
