LeAnn Rimes And Eddie Cibrian Admit To Marriage Counseling

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian may put up the front of a strong marriage on their new reality show, but the couple recently admitted that not everything is as good as they make it look.

In a recent interview with Star magazine, LeAnn admitted that she and Eddie have gone to marriage counseling in the past to work on communication issues.

“We’ve gone to therapy to learn how to communicate better because we don’t want to screw with the kids. It has made us better and made our marriage stronger,” she told the publication.

LeAnn Rimes did not give the reason she and Eddie Cibrian went to marriage counseling, but in the past have been quite open about the unusual start to their relationship. Eddie was still with now ex-wife Brandi Glanville and LeAnn was with then-husband Dean Sheremet when the relationship started.

The couple has told Eddie’s two sons about the affair, telling Us Weekly that they all talked about it over dinner one day.

“The kids actually came to us and asked very nonchalantly over dinner. Eddie was very honest with them in a way that you can be with a 7-year-old and 11-year-old,” LeAnn Rimes said. “He’s always the first person to say how much he loves me, and they see that in our house, and they feel that, so I think it’s important not to lie to children. They understand way more. We both never want them to come back and say, ‘You weren’t honest with us about this.’ They’re very open with us, which is cool.”

It seems that if Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes did go to marriage counseling, it may have been sometime in the past. Recently the couple was spotted taking in a swimwear show at the Luli Fama presentation in Raleigh. They were later seen having lunch together at the Shore Club.
