Assassin’s Creed Experience At San Diego Comic Con 2014: Leap Of Faith Seen Via GoPro Camera

The Assassin’s Creed Experience at San Diego Comic Con 2014 has been drawing a lot of attention since it allows AC fans to try out their parkour skills for real in a course that was designed with the help of Ubisoft game designers. Unfortunately, flying out to California is not an option for many of us fans, so what’s the next best thing besides watching the Assassin’s Creed Experience through a GoPro camera in first person view?

In a related report by The Inquisitr, Kacy Catanzaro of American Ninja Warrior fame also was caught on video running the Assassin’s Creed Experience. Although she says the course winded her a little bit, it seemed like an easy run for her in comparison to the trials she faced on the TV show. Kacy also revealed she wants to play a female Thor in a potential Thor 4 movie if they ever cover the “unworthy Thor” story angle which shows what happens when Thor loses the right to wield his might hammer Mjolnir. But in the short term she’s also trying to break into the Hollywood stunt industry:

“My boyfriend Brent, he’s been a stuntman for like five years. Every time I watch him, I’m like, ‘I would love to do that,’ but it is so hard to get into. I do hope that some people will notice me and this might get me in that world. I want to do that sometime soon.”

In the case of the Assassin’s Creed Experience, you really do not have to be a stunt person to complete the course. The majority of the challenges are definitely made easier compared to the TV shows although there was a couple notable prat falls in some of the videos I’ve seen. The best part was the ending where contestants were able to to complete an assassin leap of faith off of a 25 feet tower. They used an inflatable crash pad, of course, not a bush or a bale of hay like in the game. Some contestants were also a little disappointed that you were not allowed to do a front-facing flip like they show in the game. Still, it looks like the Assassin’s Creed Experience was a lot of fun.

I’d also suggest checking out this other Assassin’s Creed: Unity trailer which shows real life parkour in Paris in order to show off what the game would be like in real life in modern times:

This is an old video for AC4 but it’s still worth watching if you missed it:
