Kevin Durant Goes To Brunch With Justin Bieber

Kevin Durant shared brunch with an unusual guest this week — none other than troubled pop star Justin Bieber.

The unlikely pair were seen sharing a meal together, with Bieber posting a picture of their meeting on Instagram.

Curiously, Justin Bieber decided to wear a Brooklyn Nets hat while dining with the Oklahoma City Thunder star.

Kevin Durant isn’t the only athlete friend of Justin Bieber. The young pop star has also crafted a strange relationship with boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Mayweather even gets a bit defensive when asked about the strange friendship. After a reporter asked how the two came to be friends, Mayweather accused her of “racial profiling.”

Bieber has also been seen partying with Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel, though at least that friendship makes a bit more sense. Both Bieber and Manziel have a reputation for living fast and hard, so their partying together is a bit more expected.

It’s not clear if the friendship between Justin Bieber and Kevin Durant extends any further than brunch. Durant has been focused on next season, trying to get the Oklahoma City Thunder geared up for a title run in a stacked Western Conference.

“I’m excited about next year. It’s another opportunity for me to play this game at a high level, and I’ve been working out since a couple days after the Finals,” he told Bleacher Report. “I took some time off to rest my body and re-energize and get my mind right. I’ve been going hard and just trying to add everything to my game, from post-ups to jump shots to ball-handling.

“I’ve been in the weight room a lot, so hopefully it pays off for me.”

If he’s focusing on basketball, Kevin Durant will likely be cutting back his time with Justin Bieber.
