First two Skyrim DLC packs will be timed exclusives for Xbox 360

Bethesda sent out a press release earlier this morning to announce that the first two DLC packs for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be timed exclusives for the Xbox 360 – about 30 days worth of exclusivity, Bethesda said.
We still don’t know just what those DLC packs are going to be, but going by Todd Howard’s statement back in June, it will likely be of the more “substantial” kind. Or for all I know, it could end up being Mammoth armor.
Considering that Bethesda did the same thing with Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, this news shouldn’t exactly come as a surprise. Personally, however, I’ll be thrilled when publishers decide to stop making DLC platform-exclusive, even if it’s only timed.
That’s probably not going to happen though.
