Brody Jenner Reveals Why He Opted To Attend Reggie Bush’s Wedding Instead of Kim Kardashian’s Wedding

Brody Jenner has received a lot of flack for attending Reggie Bush’s wedding instead of his stepsister Kim Kardashian’s star-studded wedding to rapper Kanye West. His decision to attend Bush’s wedding comes as quite a shocker for most fans since the Detroit Lions running back is his stepsister’s ex-boyfriend.

Now, he’s decided to set the record straight by explaining his actions. On Thursday, July 17, Jenner took to his podcast The Brody Jenner Podcast with Dr. Mike Dow with details about his decision. According to US Weekly, the former Hills reality TV star revealed he really doesn’t know the Yeezus rapper at all.

“There are a few reasons that came into play on why I didn’t go to Kim’s — one thing being it was in Paris, which is a long way away. Reggie Bush’s wedding was right down the street. It was in San Diego so it was a lot closer,” Jenner said. The 29-year-old NFL star married his girlfriend of four years, Lilit Avagyan.

He went on to share some interesting details about his relationship with the “New Slaves” rapper. Jenner also gave a comparison between his cordial interactions with West and his friendship with Bush.

“To be completely honest, I don’t know Kanye. Like at all. I really don’t,” Jenner explained on his podcast. “I’ve had one conversation with him that maybe lasted 15 seconds or 20 seconds. I’ve known Reggie for a very long time. Reggie dated Kim for years and I developed a very close relationship with Reggie and Lilit. We spent a lot more time together as a whole.”

However, he did call to congratulate the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star on her big day. “That’s not to say I didn’t call Kim and say, ‘I wish you the best and I love you and support you. This is a great decision,” Jenner explained further. “But by the way — I would have loved to have gone to that wedding…it just didn’t work out and it’s all good.”

Although it seems awkward, Jenner stands behind his decision with absolutely no regrets!
