Destiny’s Child Member Arrested For Disorderly Conduct

According to TMZ, ex-Destiny’s Child member, Farrah Franklin was arrested in South Carolina early Sunday morning following a drunken induced evening.

Franklin who had a short stint with the girl group for roughly five months in 2000 before being kicked out by veterans, Kelly Rowland and Beyoncé, was booked into the Horry County Detention Center around 5am.

At this time reports are unclear what lead to Franklin’s arrest, but disorderly conducted is the reason for the ex-star being ticketed.

Apparently this was not Franklin’s first arrest for displaying inappropriate behavior. According to reports, in 2011, while in LA, the singer was arrested again for a drunken night, which lead to her being ticketed for…you guessed it, disorderly conduct.

The singer claimed that the cops were racist and that she was the victim of racial profiling.

Meanwhile while Franklin spent a few hours in jail, detoxing from her decisions, her former band mate, Beyoncé was on tour with her husband Jay-Z whose last stop was in Beyoncé’s hometown, Houston, Texas. Although rumors continue to surround the power couple’s marriage, the “On The Run Tour” continues to sell-out venues.

According to Madame Noire, since Franklin’s release from Destiny’s Child, she has worked on some solo music projects and has also dabbled in modeling. Franklin also owns a company called One Love Pictures and Entertainment.

Hours before Franklin’s arrest, she uploaded a happy and carefree photo of herself on an undisclosed beach.
