Jay Z and Beyonce Concertgoers Forced To Pay How Much For Parking?!

Jay Z and Beyonce fans found out the hard way that parking spaces do not come cheap when a hometown music star visits on Friday evening in Houston.

Some fans used to parking lot prices that typically rise to no more than $30 for Astros games in Minute Maid Park were shocked to find out that they did not bring enough cash to park in nearby lots, according to KHOU.

Jay Z fans undoubtedly found out that they had 99 problems and parking was one of them when they did not bring $80 in cash to park close to Minute Maid Park. Others found out that they would need to pay $60 to park and see Jay Z perform with Beyonce on stage.

One driver who found out that he was short of the money had to turn around and drain his bank account some more after spending hundreds of dollars for concert tickets to see Jay Z and company.

“I’m going to the ATM,” he lamented. “I have no choice.”

One woman shook her head and complained as she handed several bills over to a parking attendant, “It’s ridiculous… and we just paid $400 for the tickets.”

Many Jay Z and Beyonce concertgoers decided to get around the issue by taking shuttles to Minute Maid Park from nearby hotels. Other fans of the power couple knew that parking lots would gouge drivers as much as they could.

One woman explained that she knew prices would raise significantly because Jay Z’s wife is “a hometown girl and she brings out a crowd.”

Jay Z and Beyonce are in the midst of their On The Run tour. So far Jay Z and Queen B have reportedly gained a nightly ticket gross of $5.2 million, according to Nola.

The tour has sparked a lot of rumors upon rumors about Jay Z and Beyonce’s marriage. Some rumors that Jay Z cheated on his wife were fueled when she changed and added lyrics to a song that seemed to imply that the tune about cheating may have been about Jay Z.

Reports have been conflicted about the chemistry between Jay Z and his beautiful wife on stage. Some claim that the two barely interacted on stage, while others have claimed that Jay Z was very affectionate with his wife of six years and even planted a welcomed kiss on her neck.

No matter what the critics report, many people are willing, and in some cases seemingly forced, to pay for expensive tickets and overpriced parking to see for themselves what type of chemistry Jay Z and Beyonce really have on stage.
