Jurassic Park: The Game due out this November

According to a report from IGN from earlier today, Telltale Games is planning on releasing Jurassic Park: The Game on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 15.

Rather than doing their usual thing – that is, dripping out episodes once a month – Jurassic Park: The Game will launch with all episodes immediately available on the PC and PlayStation 3. For Xbox 360 users, you’ll have to pick up a retail copy which contains all episodes.

I’m having a hard time wrapping my brain around the logic of releasing it in November of all months. Don’t get me wrong, I’m actually really excited for Jurassic Park: The Game – but putting an episodic adventure game, even one based on a popular film franchise, up against Modern Warfare 3 and Skyrim seems.. strange.

Regardless, I will no doubt be picking this one up as soon as it’s made available. After what they did with Back to the Future: The Game, it’s hard to imagine Jurassic Park: The Game being anything but great.
