Holy James Bond, It’s the 3G Wrist Phone!

Watch out, iPhone: Korea’s LG has just come out with its own 3G device, and this one is worn right on your wrist.

The LG-GD910 3G wrist phone is set to debut at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in early January, the company has confirmed. The wrist phone boasts a 1.43-inch color LCD touchscreen and features a combo video/still camera built right into the front of the device. It offers both 3G and 7.2 Mbps HSDPA support.

The LG-GD910 wrist phone also has text-to-speech functionality along with Bluetooth support, an MP3 player, a speakerphone, and speech recognition technology. If that’s not enough, it’s waterproof, too. The wrist phone is about 13.9 millimeters thick.

The wrist phone is expected to go on sale in Europe sometime in 2009. Prices have not yet been disclosed.

I’ll take two, please.
