Teen Selfie With McCartney, Buffett: 16-Year-Old Takes Epic Selfie With His ‘Homies’
A teen took a selfie with Paul McCartney and Warren Buffett — and the photo has gone viral! According to CNN Money, 16-year-old Jacob Murray took advantage of a rare sighting in Omaha, Nebraska on Sunday night. He saw two super famous people sitting on a bench together — so he snapped an epic photo with them… sort of. Whether they wanted to be in the picture or not, Jacob was able to get both McCartney and Buffett in the frame (with him, of course, giving a “thumbs up” for good measure). The photo caption? “Chillin with my homies (sic).”
But just what were the two celebs up to?
“Earlier in the evening, the billionaire CEO of Berkshire Hathaway and the [cute] Beatle had dinner at Avoli Osteria, an Italian restaurant in the Dundee neighborhood of Omaha. Next, the two headed to eCreamery, a local ice cream shop, according to co-owner Becky App.”
It looks like the teen nabbed the selfie with McCartney and Buffett right after their trip to eCreamery. Although it must have been an incredible feeling to be in the presence of such amazing talent, Jacob totally stayed calm — and he managed to look great as he snapped the picture which was later retweeted by Sir Paul McCartney himself!
Interestingly enough, there has been some debate surrounding the snapshot. For starters, it doesn’t actually look like the photo is a true “selfie.” It looks like someone took the picture of Jacob with the two celebs sitting behind him. While that might not be a big deal, what about conversations about the photo being staged? McCartney and Buffet both appear to be looking at the camera, don’t they?
Regardless of how cool the photo is, someone is always going to have something to say, apparently. Oh, and before you wonder why McCartney is even in Nebraska, he’s doing a show in Lincoln on Monday night (via paulmccartney.com).
The teen’s selfie with McCartney and Buffett has placed Paul in the news yet again this month. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the musician made headlines when he assisted in a marriage proposal during his concert at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York.
“The couple made signs that read, ‘I have the ring and I’m 64!’ and ‘He won’t marry me ’til he meets you.’ The couple stood at the front of the stage waving their signs almost the entire concert until the final encore when McCartney brought the pair on stage in front of a crowd of over 13,000.”
