Lil Wayne and Drake will square off on-stage during their upcoming tour.

The rappers are preparing to embark on a series of extremely epic shows next month, performances that will find Lil Wayne and his tourmate engaging in a pseudo “rap battles” for their legion of adoring fans. After bouncing back and forth between their respective tunes, Lil Wayne and Drake will eventually appear together on-stage.

Weezy discussed the game plan during a recent chat with MTV News. Judging from the Wayne’s description of the upcoming shows, folks who pony up the money to see them live are in for a serious rap-oriented treat.

Lil Wayne told the website:

“Since, thank god we’ve been so successful, [we’ll just be] going back and forth with our hits and getting the crowd to go crazy, then just finally hit the stage together. It’s a battle type thing.”

BET points out that Lil Wayne’s manager, Cortez Bryant, is the mastermind behind the on-stage “battles” between Weezy and Drake. If you like what you see when the show wraps up, remember to send the guy a little love on social media.
