Teen’s Rape Goes Viral: 16-Year-Old Jada Speaks Out After Rape Photos Get Posted Online

A teen’s rape goes viral after someone posts photos of her naked, passed out body online — and the internet is now on fire with debate. According to The Canada Journal, a 16-year-old girl identified as “Jada” has spoken out after she was allegedly drugged, raped, and humiliated after attending a party in Houston. You see, someone took photos of Jada when she was passed out, and posted them on the internet for all to see.

Pictures, videos, and tweets involving what happened to Jada at that party showed up on social media. She says that she was raped that night, but that she didn’t know what was going on. A drink of “punch,” she says, must have been laced with drugs.

Jada told KHOU:

“I wasn’t suppose to be there. I had no control to say ‘no.’ I didn’t tell anyone to take my clothes off and do what they did to me.”

It’s rare that a teen’s rape goes viral, so the feedback on social media has been mixed. Some people have tweeted their support for Jada while others have actually defended her alleged rapist, Innel Yahia. Some people apparently think that the pictures of Jada’s body posted online are funny — and have been recreating them with the hashtag “Jadapose.” This, of course, has outraged others, and there has been a constant back and forth between the two groups since the photos surfaced.

According to The Huffington Post, Jada is no longer attending the public school that she went to. Her mother has decided to home school her in an effort to allow her daughter to save face and give her some time to heal in a safe place.

Jada’s mother said:

“No one’s daughter deserved this. No human being deserved this.”

The people who made the teen’s rape go viral could find themselves in a lot of trouble. Many believe that the people responsible for posting those offensive pictures online should be held accountable (via The Inquisitr). Police are currently investigating this case, but so far, no charges have been filed.

Innel Yahia posted some very explicit tweets online before shutting down his Twitter account. He seems to have a very different recollection of what happened that night. He says that Jada willingly had sex with him — and that she got drunk and was not drugged. Police, of course, will get the bottom of both sides.
